What We Did:
Using our Kháos Framework foundation established through facilitation, we developed a full identity system for Hastings Global – a logo suite, brand typography, colour system, and usage guidelines. We applied the system across multiple communication tools, including printed and digital pitch decks, business cards, report templates, and branded documentation for daily use.
We also designed a responsive website to introduce the brand to market and support stakeholder engagement. The site was structured to scale and included CMS functionality for future content updates.
To support launch, we created brand video content, social media post assets, and a targeted paid promotion strategy to begin building awareness in key markets.
Project Overview
Hastings Global Development is a U.S.-based commercial real estate development firm with operations in the U.S. and the Caribbean. The company was created to bring strategic, principal-led leadership to complex development projects, with a focus on trust, detail, and responsiveness. From inception, the founder engaged Katalyst to build a full brand foundation—one that could support business development, market expansion, and long-term growth.

The founder of Hastings Global needed a brand that would establish immediate credibility with institutional stakeholders while also differentiating the firm from larger, slower-moving competitors. The request was not only for design, but for a full brand strategy system—identity, messaging, tools, and launch assets—that reflected the company’s values and supported future market entry.

Build a brand system that positions Hastings Global as a boutique development firm capable of managing high-stakes, time-sensitive projects for REITs, brokers, and regional investors. The deliverables needed to include a clear strategic foundation, a complete visual identity system, communications and business development collateral, and a digital presence that could scale with the company’s growth.

We began by guiding the client through two core tools: the Brand Heart Workbook and the Katalyst Brand Project Questionnaire. These were developed to extract the underlying drivers of the brand—its purpose, values, tone, and business objectives—while identifying audience needs and real estate market dynamics.
These tools were not simple intake documents. They served as structured facilitation exercises that helped us align the client’s vision with the realities of the market. The insights gathered informed the creation of the Kháos Framework Facilitation document, which provided a clear view of the brand’s internal logic—its voice, positioning, audience personas, and cultural drivers.
From there, we developed the Kháos Brand Roadmap—a detailed brand strategy guide that captured everything from market opportunities and competitor positioning to brand behavior and communications strategy. This roadmap became the anchor for all identity, messaging, and design decisions.

The brand was introduced to the market with a complete system—strategic, visual, and operational. Hastings Global now engages stakeholders with a consistent identity across every touchpoint, from pitch meetings and client onboarding to digital marketing. The founder has been able to initiate business development activities with a credible, professionally designed brand platform tailored to industry expectations. The materials were designed for practical, day-to-day use while supporting long-term growth.
